the process

The word "Shabbat" [Shabbath, Shabat] comes from Hebrew, specifically from the root Shin-Bet-Tav (ש-ב-ת), which means "to cease" or "to rest." It is derived from the commandment in the Hebrew Bible to "remember the Shabbat day and keep it holy." The term has been used for centuries to refer to the Jewish day of rest and worship, emphasizing the cessation of work and the importance of rest and spiritual reflection.
